Travel Restrictions

CROSS BORDER POLICY – Cross border rentals are allowed within the European countries and the continental part of Turkey. A prior written authorization is required and an insurance fee will apply. The guarantee is equal to the buying value of the rented car. This type of rental is recommended to be requested at least 7 working days prior to the rental pickup date. Please contact the reservations department at +40 213165856 or reservation@touringrentauto.ro for further information. The minimum time for the publication of a green card is up to 1 working day depending on the insurance company. The green card covers the rental vehicle with supplemental liability insurance – TPI as long as the vehicle remains within the borders of the country/countries for which the card is issued. The fee for Cross Border Travel ranges between 50 and 130 EUR plus Tax per rental depending on car group and destinations.
